For the 2025 IPR + Page Case Study Competition, we conducted a thorough analysis of Victoria’s Secret’s brand history and its efforts to connect with today’s audience, especially given that its previous marketing strategy relied on the appeal of fantasy and extravagance.

Through the parade sounds: a brief history of Portland’s Chinatown

Due to the high cost of living and discriminatory laws, Chinese American immigrants had to live in different neighborhoods while keeping their business thriving in Portland. Although spreading out in different parts of the town, the Chinese American community still tries to keep its community strong and culture alive, as heard through the annual Dragon Dance Parade.

Through this project, I learned how to edit audio elements such as narrations, actualities, and ambient sounds using Adobe Audition. This project trained me to tell a story in a way I hadn’t before—through sound.
